NCI LiveHelp
An on-line instant messaging service for those with Internet access
to support efforts to quit smoking. Smoking Cessation Counselors
are available from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern time.

9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Local time, Monday - Friday
Smoking cessation counselors are available to answer smoking-related
questions in English or Spanish.

The site includes consumer versions of clinical practice

National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute
The web site provides information related to the causes,
prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart, blood vessel,
lung, and blood diseases; and sleep disorders.
National Institute on Drug Abuse
The web site includes a brief description of the effects
of tobacco use and the related statistics and trends. Links are
provided for NIDA’s feature publications and NIDA resources
on smoking/nicotine.
Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco
The mission of the Society is to stimulate the generation of new knowledge
